The training course is designed for Linux administrators and provides an introduction to installation and configuration of an ICP server (version 4). The basics, advantages, and disadvantages of the automatic configuration framework "Ansible" will be explained and discussed. Furthermore, the most common errors occuring during work with an ICP server will be presented and explained, and some useful stuff about updating/backing up an ICP and installation of PSI components will be told.
After completing the training, the participants will obtain theoretical knowledge about an ICP server as it is used at the PSI. The course is planned to be a starting point to the ICP workshop also provided by the PSI training division (SKUINST) where the participants apply their obtained skills installing and configuring computers on an ICP.

After registration, you will receive a written confirmation with all information on the organizational procedure. The confirmation guarantees your participation in the training.
The fees for the training course include the costs for the rooms, trainers, detailed docul´mentation as well as drinks during breaks and lunch. All other costs incurred in connection with the training course are to be borne by the participant.
Cancellation policy: After confirmation of participation courses can be cancelled up to 6 weeks before the start of the course without cost. For later cancellations PSI will charge 80% of the course fees. A replacement my be named by customer.
Please note that the group request option pertains to our cross-customer training courses only. The group may comprise employees of different companies. Such training courses use the PSI standard systems and take place in Aschaffenburg or, if possible, online.
